is it possible to hide the Paypal-Button for enrolling to a party? My Lanparties are all free.

Yep. Or I think the configuration for the events component there is a setting "enable PayPal"

Or make it say "donate" instead of disabling it? You'd be surprised how many people wanna donate to the cause.
