Tickets & PayPal Problem 2 Years ago Karma: 0
I have a problem with com_mls_events when i try to test if tickets buying works.
So, the first thing I do is sign-up for a event, when i signed up i went to option=com_mls_events&task=pay&eventid=1.
So i set that i want to buy 1 ticket for example then i click on Update Total, then on next page I have section Review purchase then i click on next and it returns me to Lanparty Events section. When i try to look for Tickets Purchase (option=com_mls_events&task=purchases&Itemid=123) i see nothing.

And do i need to use PayPal for sign-ups beacuse i want to allow players that they can pay via bank also.

Is this on a local website or is this out on the internet somewhere so I can try and have a look at it myself?

Sorry, it's taken me a while. There was definitely a bug. I wonder how this could have slipped through - I tested this loads...

Never mind, you can download a fixed 'mls_events.html.php' file here - I assume you know where to put it.

Mate, you can modify the software in any way you want, as long as you stay in line with the GNU GPL.

When a user signs up he can select the option "Just subscribe, I will pay later".

He can then send you payment manually (You can put payment information in the event details), and you then have to go to the backend an manually mark users as "Paid".

Thanks for the answer, i was think of a when you buy ticket that i can enable option where you can select either PayPal or other type of payment.

Sorry for bothering

EDIT : Hmm, i now see that option, i was think of that one user (team leader) buys a set of 5 tickets for his team, after he payed for it, i set him to "PAID" and then he gets 4 codes for his teammates to enter it.

A user can still buy 5 tickets and then send you the money via bank transfer. Agreed, I should probably just put an option there, but the option would do absolutely nothing, just take you back to the list.
If he completes the purchase, but does not do the paypal, you will see the purchase appearing in the backend as "unpaid".
He then sends you the money, and you mark the actual purchase as paid, not the user.

Then the user has the five tickets.

I agree that I could make it a bit more clearly, but do you understand what I mean? He makes the purchase, just doesn't pay for it.
