In order to help me assess future development, I set up some polls. The more results I get here, the clearer it is for me what to do next and what to prioritize! Feel free to drop me an email if you have additional suggestions about any of the polls!

And - to be honest - seeing some pennies rolling into my PayPal account would reeeaalllyyy encourage me more doing this stuff you vote for :)

What environment are you running for your Joomla/myLANsite installation?
For future planning, I need to know what you guys have installed on your webservers. I plan to use many of the new technologies in PHP5 and MySQL5, but if the majority of you are running older versions, I need to know. Please answer separately for your website (shared hosting) and intranet installation.

Change Seatmap component to enable occupancy during different timeframes
You may have seen the option "Times" in the events component. It enables you and the visitors to choose, which times they want to attend your event (e.g. only first day or whole event). For this to be 100% usefull, I would have to change the seatmap components to a seat might be occupied by two people but at different times. How important is this feature for you? (with 1 being least and 5 most).

Improve Tournaments component
Currently, the only types of tournaments you can do are Single-Elimination and Double-Elimination. Many of you have already asked me to add more tournament modes like Group Games, ... . Certainly, this will cost a shed load of time to do this but if you want this, let me know.

Centralized User and Events-database
This is a very cool thing I had in the old version of myLANsite. Doing this, you would be able to build a main community site to which other mambo/myLANsite websites connect. Whenever someone creates a new user or sings up for an event on one website, all data will be transferred to the main website and therefore be available for all other websites as well. This enables you true single sign-on. Visitors will also be able to directly sign up for an even on the main community site with one click without visiting the actual event's website.
Will take some time, but I see that the Mambo /Joomla people do already have an XML-RPC API included and I have some concepts already in mind.

Automatic Generation of Tournament Match playtimes
an admin can define the length of each match and the lenghts of the break between each round and can also set longer, fixed breaks (e.g. during night).
The Script processes this data and tries to set all playtimes according to the settings chosen. If the settings don't match (not enough time would be a reason) the script has to alert the admin.
After times have been set, the servers can be assigned. A match-alert module can be written. And admins can also force opponents of matches to check-in for example 10 minutes before playtime. If they don't check-in, they will automatically loose that match (keeps 'em goin' very well :)
This will then also work together with the server list. Matches will automatically distributed across the servers for that particular game. This will probably then work together with ExtCal2. This is already a f* great component and saves me loads of time writing a graphical calendar to display the playing times.

Do you wish myLANsite to interact more with other components?
There is some quite cool stuff out there.
You can look forward to ExtCal2 integration with the next version of com_mls_event (very neat stuff!!). But would you like more integration with for example CommunityBuilder? So you could then for example configure, which datarows for users should be displayed in the participants list. And the additional fields for the EU leagues like WWCL and NGL could be managed via CommunityBuilder as well rather than with my own hack.
