Great news everybody! I just released version 0.1.0 of the events component and many more releases will follow.

The most important change here is the introduction of the new install/upgrade system which will be integrated in every single component later. Therefore the "jump" in the version numbers so everyone knows that the 0.1.0 versions are the first ones to feature the new installer. From now on you can upgrade your components with just two clicks! No manual file-replacement anymore!

Secondly I would like to announce the integration in the absolutely awesome ExtCal2 module for Mambo and Joomla! Many of you asked for this and finally it is here. ExtCal2 brings you an extensive and beautifully looking calendar system wich a pretty cool module to display a mini-calendar on your site.
