Paypal module, what does it do? How does it work? 3 Years ago

I have the Paypal module installed, and I see that it adds a paypal button to the event details.
Lets assume soemone pays with Paypal, once the payment is complete, does it automatically mark them as paid?
Also, is there a way to have 2 Paypal buttons available? I need 1 button for admission, and another button for admission + rental (we have rental computers). I need the buttons to have 2 different values.
Again, thanks for the awesome programming, we love your modules.

You probably want to read this:

They should use the "Pay" link on the top. But if they use the button that I automatically display, PayPAl will use IPN to send a notification to mylansite which will automatically set the participant as "paid". But remember to define the IPN url in the PayPal configuration. You will find the correct link the PayPal "Configuration" page in Joomla.

Indeed you can
Check out the "Packages" feature. You can create a package and just edit the description which says something like "Admission plus commputer rental". All packages will be displayed when a user looks at the "Pay" page in the event details. If they use this paypal button there, they will be automatically set to "paid" and additionally, it creates an entry that this user has this package. You can look this up in the "Packages-Users Enquiry" page. Neat, eh?

No matter what I do, I cannot get more than one paypal button to show up. Even if I unpublish the 2 packages that I have setup, a Paypal button is still shown.
I've even tried unregistering for the event and reregistering.

OK, I did some investigation, and here is what I have come up with.
Enabling payment for the event is turned on. That gives me a single paypal button which I am unable to edit in any way. I cannot change the button's look, or payment amount.
Turning off the payment for event, and turning on payment for package, turns off the paypal button. I no longer have a Paypal button at all.
So, it appears to be a problem in the pakcages area of the module. I look in there, and I have 2 packages listed. Admission, and Admission with Rental.
Both packages are identical except for the name and value ($10, $20).
I have them both set to "pay for a specific event in a package", and the event shown is the name of our event. Everything is set to published.
Any ideas?

When looking at the event details, there is a link on the top which says "Pay" - ever tried this one?

I don't have a pay link at the top. Only a "back to event list", "comments", and "reviews" links.
