Disable Payments? 2 Years, 11 Months ago Karma: 0
I'd like to set certain lan parties to be pay at the door only, so I'd like to be able to skip the payment module completely, and let users sign up and pick seats.

(With a notice that seat arrangements are not guaranteed)

How do I do this?

i would also like to know that. Iv'e been searching through the site but haven't found any clear answer.

I know that there's an option to turn off paypal in administration but that isn't working

Help would be greatly appreciated as there is little time until our LAN starts.

Also im 80% finished with a norwegian translation of most of the com's and mod's.

I think you should be able to select when or if the paypal feature is used.

For instance, if you don't need paypal for the LAN, you can disable it, or if you need it, but you would like it to happen at a point in the Checklist you can allow it to be done last, in the middle, or first.

It would allow flexibility to how people want to run their collections of payment.

I am also trying to do this. I don't want to receive any payments as of yet. I only want to try a tourney out without getting complicated with money.

Has someone has had a response from Samuel? Samuel can you point us in the right direction? I've disable payments from the paypal component but it seems that in order to take the pay option from the event component you need to go to the event component configuration but when trying to take out the paid object it gives an error in line 3.

Thanks.

kicking this topic.

In my case I am adapting Samuels nice piece of programming for circuitreservations and meetings for motorcyclist. Trackdays.

Ihave afairly large website, and am planning to publlish trackdays from all organisators on my site, but I myself only organise a few, and for the ones Iorganise, the payment thingy would be nice, but to be hones I use virtuemart to sell admissions, as a shop it is better .

So I would let the payment stuff out of the mylansitecomponent for the moment. Maybe I pay a pgrommaer later to make some sort of bridge between the status in virtuemart and the paymentstatus in the mylansite component....

But first I hwant to turn it off . Can be generally as it is not needed at this moment, but prefer on a per event basis...
