Did you check the myLANsite Events component configuration page? You first have to enable ExtCal integration and then also choose which Category is used for the events to be published in. If yo do not do either of them, it will not work.
And obviously have a look at the third section which handles how ExtCal events get published.

Cheers

Forgot to say: Although myLANsite works on Mambo, it might not anymore in the future. You will have to switch to Joomla!. The earlier, the better.<br><br>Post edited by: moensch, at: 2006/05/23 19:17

Ok thanks for your help, but still doesnt work and i have applied to your instructions.

I hae noticed that it actually says on my site that there are no events when i have actually added 2 test events that are published, active and enrollable.

Any ideas?

Thanks

P.S. Why Joomla, what is the difference between it and mambo if you are stopping supporting mambo in th future?<br><br>Post edited by: phoenixology, at: 2006/05/25 13:32

Joomla! was Mambo before.

So I see you missed a piece of history here . To wrap it up for you:
Mambo has always been supported by Miro International which also held the rights on the name &quot;Mambo&quot; but also acted as a good sponsor for the project. One day they founded the &quot;Mambo Foundation&quot; and transferred all naming rights to this Foundation. This sounds all good, but then they came up with the absolutely brilliant idea that said, that all Mambo core developers have to join the Mambo Foundation to continue contributing code.

And this is actually not what Free Software is about. One has to be able to freely contribute without being bound. So Mambo has lost what it is: The Freedom in itself.

This is when nearly all Mambo core developers decided to dump Miro. But they have done it slightly differently. They just took the latest version of Mambo (nothing stops them, as it is still under the GNU GPL), gave it a new name (Joomla!) and continued working on it. Miro (actually, the Mambo Foundation) was left with the fancy name &quot;Mambo&quot;, some code but no developers. Although they have a new Developer team now, Joomla! is making much faster and better progress. The upcoming 1.5 version looks very promising!

For me (and all other) third-party developers this meant that we have to make a choice. Either continue developing for Mambo or go for Joomla!. At the moment, my components (and many others) both work on Joomla! and Mambo as there are no huge differences in code yet, but as time continues, this will not be the case anymore. Certainly components which are written for Joomla! 1.5 will not work on Mambo anymore - and this is good!

I chose Joomla! and so should you, if you want to be able to continue using the latest versions of my components. There is a very good article on the Joomla! website on how to migrate from Mambo to Joomla!. If you would like me to help you, feel free to drop me a line and we can discuss time needed and costs (still have not paid everything for my wedding yet )

Hope this helped

WHERE exactly does it say that? In the event list of MY component or in ExtCal? Screenshot would be good.
